Mostly flat with some hills
Mostly flat + small hills
Country lanes & roads
This bike tour is an easy ride on back roads and country lanes. While the ride is mostly flat there is a short section with a few rolling hills.
The tropical sun can be quite fierce, so we recommend you use some sun block or, if you prefer a natural option, sun sleeves for your arms and Buff headwear for your neck.
Men and Woman need to cover their shoulders to enter temples and mosques. Woman need to cover their knees as well, so If you like to wear shorts when riding, we recommend bringing a sarong to wear for entering a temple or mosque.

You still need to turn up for the bike tour if it is raining. It is quite common that it can be raining in one part of the city and not raining in another. So if it's raining at your hotel don't assume it is raining where you will be cycling. Also it is common that the rain falls heavily and for short durations so if it does rain we just wait and continue the tour once the rain stops. We also have plastic rain ponchos for everyone in the case that you do need to ride in the rain. If heavy rains continues until 12 pm you can choose to cancel with full refund or change your tour to another day.

What our guests tell us...
Just a selection of our great reviews!
Informative, fun to bike outside of the city, delicious lunch, a little time for shopping, all around excellent - would highly recommend.
Everything was perfectly organized, from the bikes provided, over the train ride to the lunch break. Our guide Gun did a great job in leading us safely through the traffic and providing profound information throughout the tour.
The tour was exactly as advertised - lots of beautiful countryside riding, two food breaks, and two temple stops …I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore part of the countryside they otherwise wouldn’t see.
Fun day experiencing Chiang Mai and surroundings
When we heard the countryside tour was 70km we were a bit nervous but with a little stretching after we were fine. Our guide was awesome. He showed us these back roads and took us to a great lunch spot and for smoothies. He’s also very knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the history of Chiang Mai.
A fantastic way to see the parts of Chiang Mai we'd never discover otherwise. Cannot recommend highly enough. Tagalongs were great for kids aged 6 and 3. Can't wait to do another tour with the company.
