Full day bike tour in Siem Reap, Cambodia
Experience the thrill of a bucket-list sunrise over the majestic spires of Angkor Wat on a premium cycle tour through this UNESCO World Heritage Archeological Park with breakfast and lunch included. This sunrise bike tour is our quintessential Angkor Wat experience and it's sure to be an unforgettable morning.
This trip runs outside of Siem Reap.
Begin with a van pickup from your hotel that brings you straight to Angkor Wat for sunrise, then enjoy a magical walk through the temple in the soft morning light and cool temperatures once the crowds of tourists have dispersed. A delicious breakfast awaits a short van ride away so we can fuel up before mounting the bikes.
After breakfast, we ride around the hidden trails of the Angkor complex through the jungle to visit some of the park’s best-kept secrets as well as the iconic temples of the Bayon, Ta Prom and The Elephant Terrace. As the day heats up, we lunch with a view of Sra Srang Lake and then return to your hotel by vehicle.

Sunrise at Angkor Wat
The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel. The time will be advised when we confirm your booking. The van will take you through the busy streets around town right to the Angkor Archeological Park and the Angkor Wat temple where you will meet the rest of the group and your guide will pick out the perfect position to watch the dawn break. If the weather gods are with you, the sun will rise up behind the majestic spires of Angkor Wat and provide the most stunning of silhouettes. This is truly a profound experience.
Angkor Wat Walking Tour & Breakfast

Biking Angkor Archeological Park
The rest of the day is spent cycling the back trails through thick forest to ancient ruins, stopping at both iconic and lesser-known temples. Among others, we park our bikes at the many faces of Bayon and the jungle swallowed Ta Prohm, both must-sees. Enjoy pedaling through the mysterious jungle surrounding the temples before we take lunch by the small reservoir called Sra Srang. As the day heats up, we drive back to town and to your hotel. You can expect to arrive back around 2pm.
Please note:Appropriate dress (knees and shoulders fully covered) is compulsory for entry into certain sections of Angkor Wat, and should also be observed throughout all temple areas for reasons of cultural sensitivity.
What's The Riding Like?
The day’s cycling is extremely flat and on small tracks and quiet roads, however, there are some sections on dirt trails that aren’t for beginner riders

What our guests tell us...
Just a selection of our great reviews!
I just finished up the Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour, and it was beyond amazing. The experience alone was breathtaking and something that I would recommend to everyone. But on top of the sheer beauty of Angkor Wat and surrounding temples, Roem and Grasshopper Tours made it that much more memorable.
As someone who has cycled before but not for many years the cycle was perfect. The speed in which you cycle also creates a lovely breeze which billows through your clothes keeping you cool in the hot Cambodian Sun.
...the opportunity to see farmland, local people at their homes, and some of the back areas of the temples provided a backdrop that I don't think most people visiting get to see. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion as it was a great blend of culture, history, and physical activity.
A wonderful way to explore temples and back roads in a small group. The temples themselves will be crowded but this made it more manageable as we were able to travel in between temples on the smaller back trails/roads. From early morning pickup, meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, cold water), temple history, and tips on best photo points, I highly recommend this tour.
My guide was amazing and the hospitality throughout the day was impeccable. You do not want for nothing. Going off the beaten track through the villages and jungle was an incredible way to explore these national treasures. Would recommend this tour and company to anyone.
It was a fun trip discovering the grandeur of these monuments and doing so by bike afforded an opportunity to see some of the countryside and get some exercise.
