A special note

We would love to hear from you but please remember that we are a small company. While we have staff in the office on weekdays, during weekends most of us take time out to go for a ride or relax.

Also many of us are out on tours at certain times so we can sometimes be a little slow to get back to you. Apologies for this in advance but we don't work in a tour company to spend every working day behind a desk!

If you are in one of the cities where we have shops why not come and visit?

Our Thailand base is the place to come for cycling in Bangkok, Thailand and beyond. As well as being the starting point for our Bangkok day tours, our shop occasionally sells some second hand bikes, accessories and maps for touring.

The best landmark close to us is Kok Wua Intersection which is about 200m west of our shop. This is also the intersection close to Khao San Rd, which is very well known.

The Chiang Mai base is our newest location in Thailand and one of the only places in the city to offer children's bikes. This is the starting point for all our one-day Chiang Mai bike tours and you can find us located within the old city.

We're easy to find being located in the southeast corner between Chiang Mai Gate and Wat Sai Moon.

Set in a pleasant, friendly, residential street, just off the Siem Reap River, our Siem Reap shop is a welcoming space where many of our guests start their expedition tours and many more come to take our popular and enjoyable day tours of the Angkor temples and the Siem Reap countryside.

We also offer bike shop services:

  • Bike rental (short and long term)
  • Bike sales (new and used)
  • Bike accessories sales
  • Bike servicing and repairs

We can also offer some route advice to independent tourers as they pass through.

A small, charming team run this shop and always like to host visitors, so drop in for a coconut juice and a chat about the great bike adventures that can be had in Cambodia.

In fact they are some of the friendliest you will meet. In addition to offering some amazing tours of the surrounding countryside, our Phnom Penh shop offers the following services:

  • Bike rental (short and long term)
  • Bike sales (new and used)
  • Bike accessories sales
  • Bike servicing and repairs

In 2011, we opened our Mandalay office - we are one of the few travel enterprises here to offer a creative alternative to the tired monument focused, sightseeing tours. It has paid off and the increasing number of happy customers has provided us with a great training platform for our predominantly locally staff. In addition to two great day tours by bike, we also offer a company first, our Mandalay Tea Shop Foodies Tour.

After the overwhelmingly positive response to our Mandalay day tours, we decided to open a second branch, in Bagan. Our humble office is tucked away on a leafy side street adjacent to one of the town's Italian restaurants. Bagan is the kind of place that lends itself perfectly to exploration by bike with small trails among world heritage listed temples and small villages.

The Grasshopper Ho Chi Minh City office is located in District 1 along the picturesque Kenh Nhieu Loc canal. Our operations team plans our long tours from the office and we have a day tour specialist for tours to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. Saigon traffic makes it easier to start day tours from central meeting points, but if you’re in the area feel free to drop by and say hi to our team.
