Itinerary

Days 1 Chiang Rai: On Day 1 people will be arriving throughout the day so the day is free to explore the sights of this cool town. We'll meet in the evening for a trip meeting and head out for our first dinner together.
Day 2 Huey Xai: Setting out in the morning we drive to the Lao border and cross into the small town of Huey Xai. We will take to the unicycles for our first ride in Laos.
Days 3-4 Mekong River: We spend two days travelling down the wonderful Mekong River, over nighting in Pak Beng. On Day 5 we will stop at the Buddhist caves at Pak Ou before arriving into Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.

Days 5-6 Luang Prabang: You won't want to leave this charming town. Our first day will be spent on a ride to the beautiful Kuang Sii Waterfall. On the second day we will explore the local region and a waterfall. The afternoons are yours to wander the temples, visit the King's Palace or just relax.
Day 7-10 To Vang Vieng: We depart Luang Prabang and take three days to cycle to the travellers town of Vang Vieng. The first day is the most challenging as we climb up into the mountains but the rewards are unforgettable, mountains all around with small villages clinging to their sides. In Vang Vieng we will have a rest day.
