Itinerary
Days 1-2 | Bangkok
The Big Mango, Bangkok, is so full of life you won't know where to look. On day 2 we'll hit the streets and explore the city by various transport to see the best of this big city.
Days 3-4 | Floating Markets and Ayutthaya
Leaving in the early morning we head out to the famous floating markets. Centuries old these markets still run everyday but you need to be their early. We continue on to Ayutthaya, Thailand's ancient capital, to explore the ruins of the old city. On the evening of day 4 we board a sleeper train.
Days 5-6 | Hilltribe Experience
Transferring out to the hills of Chiang Mai we stay in an area populated by various ethnic minority groups. We will take some time to explore the villages all the while staying in a mountain lodge.
Day 7 | Chiang Mai
Travelling to Chiang Mai, Thailand's northern capital, we will make a visit to the hill top temple of Doi Suthep as well has having some free time to enjoy the famous night bazaar or take in some of the many other options.
Days 8-10 | Krabi
Flying south we make for Krabi on the beautiful Andaman Sea. Thailand is deservedly famous for its beaches and you'll learn why. On our private boat we will spend a day cruising the islands and swimming in the crystal clear water. Back on land we attend a cooking class to learn some of the secrets of Thai food.
Days 11-12 | Bangkok
We take and afternoon flight back to Bangkok and head out for one last dinner to celebrate our journey.

This trip is also suitable for non-photographers. We visit a fantastic variety of locations and there is plenty to do apart from take photos - it really would be a great trip even if it wasn't a travel photographer tour! Non-photographer partners are particularly welcome.
