Itinerary
Day 1 | Huay Xai
The tour starts in northern Thai city Chiang Rai. From the meeting point we transfer out to the border and cross into Laos.
Days 2-3 | Mekong River
We spend two days travelling down the wonderful Mekong River, over nighting in Pak Beng. On Day 3 we will stop at the Buddhist caves at Pak Ou before arriving into Luang Prabang in the late afternoon.
Days 4-5 | Luang Prabang
You won't want to leave this charming town. Our first day will be spent on a ride out to a beautiful warterfall for swim and the second day is yours to wander the temples, visit the King's Palace or just relax.
Days 6-9 | Unicycling to Vang Vieng
We depart Luang Prabang and take three days to ride to the travellers town of Vang Vieng. The first day is the most challenging as we climb up into the mountains but the rewards are unforgettable, mountains all around with small villages clinging to their sides. In Vang Vieng we will have a rest day.
Days 10-12 | Unicycling to Vientiane
Back on the unicycles we ride for two more days to the capital city, Vientiane, probably the quietest city in Asia and celebrate the end of an epic journey!
