Halong Bay is the jewel of Vietnam. With thousands of huge limestone mountains jutting out of the ocean, clear ocean water for swimming and a night sleeping on your boat this makes for a great little trip out of Hanoi.
Itinerary
Day 1
At 8am you'll be picked up from your hotel for the 4 hour drive to Halong Bay. After boarding the cruise boat that will be your boat for the night enjoy a delicious seafood lunch as you cruise out into the bay. Spend the afternoon cruising, swimming, hanging out on the sun deck, kayakking and exloporing one of the many caves in the area.
Day 2
In the morning try a quick dip in the waters before cruising back to the pier, taking lunch and then returning to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi should be around 5pm.
