Sipadan Water Village is a resort beautifully constructed with Bajau architectural design. The entire resort is built over water on stilts made of ironwood, laid in certain points so as to minimise damage to the existing reef. A short boat trip away is Sipadan Island, one of the world's greatest dive spots. With turtle, sharks and a huge array of fish swimming right in front of you, even snorkelling here will leave you buzzing from seeing what lives below the water.
This extension tour is a little indulgent but if you are looking to spoil yourself after an adventure tour this is the way to do it!
Itinerary
Day 1 | Tawau to Sipadan Water Village Resort
After flying into Tawau in Borneo you will be transferred to the pier for the bost ride to Mabul Island and the Sipadan Water Village Resort.
Day 2 | Sipadan Water Village Resort
The day is yours to enjoy. Relax on your balcony, drop into the water for a swim and enjoy the buffet meals. At some point during your stay you will be taken to Sipadan for a snorkelling adventure that you will never forget. If you have ever dreamed of swimming with giant see turtles this is your chance. It really is one of life's memorable events.
Day 3 | Sipadan Water Village Resort to Tawau
You'll be sad to leave. A transfer by boat and minivan will get you to Tawau in time for your flight home.
Pricing
Our quoted price is for a 3 day/2 night non-diving package in a standard cottage. Upgrades to diving packages and higher grade rooms are available on request. If you want to extend your holiday extra nights are available for US$140 per person per night.
